Day 1 — Broken Hill • Tibooburra • Innamincka • Birdsville

Depart Broken Hill and begin your incredible outback air adventure heading north across the vast pastoral country of western New South Wales.

Fly over remote sheep and cattle stations before landing in the iconic outback township of Tibooburra for a short stop and refuel.

Continuing north, we cross the NSW and Queensland border and enter the spectacular Channel Country — one of Australia’s most remarkable inland river systems.

Following the winding Cooper Creek waterways from above, we overfly the historic Burke & Wills Dig Tree before arriving in the legendary outback town of Innamincka.

Enjoy lunch at the iconic Innamincka Hotel before departing once again over the stunning Channel Country landscapes en route to Birdsville.

Upon arrival, settle into your overnight accommodation and experience the unique atmosphere of one of Australia’s most famous outback towns.

Guests also have the option to join the renowned Big Red Tour operated by the Birdsville Hotel — a sunset 4WD adventure into the Simpson Desert featuring drinks and nibbles atop the famous red dunes.

Day 2 — Birdsville • Lake Eyre • Marree • Broken Hill

This morning we depart Birdsville and follow the spectacular Diamantina River and its winding tributaries south toward Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre.

Experience unforgettable aerial views as we fly along the eastern shoreline of Lake Eyre North before continuing toward Lake Eyre South and the mysterious Marree Man geoglyph etched into the desert below.

We land briefly in Marree for a quick stop and refuel before beginning our journey back toward Broken Hill.

Enjoy breathtaking aerial views over the northern Flinders Ranges and Lake Frome as we make our way home.

Upon arrival in Broken Hill, guests will check into the historic Royal Exchange Hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in Australia’s first heritage-listed city.

Day 3 — Broken Hill & Silverton Experience

Discover Broken Hill’s rich mining heritage, vibrant arts culture, and iconic outback landscapes before travelling to the famous historic town of Silverton — home to classic Australian films, artists, and endless desert scenery.

Visit local landmarks, galleries, and iconic pubs while learning the fascinating stories that shaped this unique region.

This immersive final day perfectly complements your aerial Outback adventure, providing a true connection to the people, history, and landscapes of Far West New South Wales.
